Tim's journey to founding SafetyVue was shaped by a life-changing event when he was hit by a drunk driver early in his career. At the time, he was thriving in construction, a field he truly loved. This incident led him to pursue further education, earning degrees in drafting and design and construction management. His path then led him into technology, where his unique combination of construction background and technical aptitude enabled him to excel in operations.
SafetyVue's journey began with two pivotal moments in founder Tim Wolter's life. The first was witnessing a close friend suffer a debilitating injury on a construction site—an accident that proper training could have prevented. The second was observing his daughter's struggles with traditional education, which failed to adapt to her individual learning needs.
These experiences converged to spark a powerful idea: combine cutting-edge technology with a deep understanding of human needs to create truly impactful safety training. This vision led to the development of SafetyVue, a platform that makes workplace safety training more engaging, effective, and accessible through personalized learning experiences.
A crucial part of SafetyVue's success story is Co-Founder and CXO Chelsie Wolter. Her background in nursing, particularly in dementia and Alzheimer's care, brought invaluable insights into personalized care and learning approaches.
